Terms of Service

Last updated: August 12, 2026

The terms that govern your use of Foreman, including the desktop licence, agent-authored changes to your code, subscriptions and billing.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Foreman — the macOS application and the website at foremanapps.com — operated by FOP Yaroslav Rozumnyi, a sole proprietorship registered in Ukraine. By installing the application or creating an account, you agree to these Terms.

1. What Foreman is

Foreman is a desktop application that runs and supervises coding agents on your own machines. It launches the agent command-line tools you have already installed and paid for — such as Claude Code or Codex — shows you what they are doing, and lets you approve, steer or stop their work.

Foreman is not an AI service and does not resell AI capacity. We do not host a model, we do not proxy your prompts through our servers, and we do not sell tokens, credits or inference. You bring your own agent subscription or API key, and your use of those tools is governed by your agreement with their provider, not by us. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting as an agent of Anthropic, OpenAI, or any other model provider.

2. Agents change your files — you are responsible for reviewing that

This is the most important clause in these Terms. When you run an agent through Foreman, that agent can read, create, modify and delete files in the directories you point it at, run shell commands on your machine, and perform git operations such as committing, branching and discarding changes.

  • You decide what an agent is allowed to touch. The permission modes, approval prompts and diff review in Foreman are tools to help you supervise that work — they are an aid to your judgement, not a safety guarantee, and they do not make an agent's actions correct, safe or reversible.
  • You are solely responsible for reviewing what an agent produces before you rely on it, ship it, or run it in production. Agent output can be wrong, insecure or destructive even when it looks plausible.
  • Use version control and keep backups. We are not liable for lost, corrupted or overwritten code, data or configuration resulting from agent activity, from commands you approved, or from features such as checkpoints and rewinds.
  • You must not use Foreman to direct agents at systems, repositories or data you are not authorised to access or modify.

3. Accounts

  • The free plan runs on a single machine and does not require an account. An account is needed only for features that span more than one device, and for paid plans.
  • You must provide accurate information and be at least 16 years old.
  • You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity on your account. Tell us promptly about any unauthorised use.

4. Paid plans, billing and refunds

  • Paid plans are sold through Creem, who act as our merchant of record. Creem is the seller of record for your purchase: they operate the checkout, take and store your card details, charge any applicable sales tax or VAT, and issue your receipt. We never see or hold your card details. Your purchase is also subject to Creem's own buyer terms.
  • Pro is a monthly subscription at $19 per month, charged to your card on the same day each month until you cancel. The price and what it includes are shown in full on our pricing page before you buy. The charge opens with CREEM on your statement rather than our own name.
  • The subscription pays for orchestration features. It does not include model usage: the agent tools you run through Foreman are billed to you by their own provider, separately, and nothing you pay us goes toward them.
  • You may cancel at any time, from your account settings or by emailing us. Cancelling stops the next charge and leaves your access running until the end of the period you have already paid for.
  • When a paid period ends your account reverts to the free plan. Foreman keeps working on one machine, and nothing on your own computer is deleted, locked or held hostage — your projects, sessions and history are on your disk and stay there. You lose only the multi-machine features the paid plan unlocks.
  • Prices may change. We will tell you before a change affects you, and a change only takes effect from your next billing period.
  • Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy and by applicable consumer law.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • resell, sublicense or redistribute Foreman without permission;
  • circumvent licensing, plan limits or the checks that determine which features your plan includes;
  • attempt to breach security, access other accounts or devices, or disrupt the service or the relay;
  • use Foreman unlawfully, to infringe others' rights, or in breach of the terms of the agent tools it drives.

6. Intellectual property

Foreman, its software and its content are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the application under these Terms. Everything you and your agents produce is yours — we claim no ownership of, and no licence to, your code, prompts, repositories or session content.

7. Availability and beta features

We aim for high availability, but the service is provided “as is” and may have downtime, maintenance windows or changes. We may modify or discontinue features. Features marked early access, preview or beta may change or be withdrawn, and should not be relied on for critical work.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for lost or damaged code or data, for the consequences of any action taken by an agent you ran, or for indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Termination

You may stop using Foreman and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or to comply with law.

10. Changes and governing law

We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified and the “Last updated” date revised. These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your own country.
